Better medical care and, therefore, a longer life
expectancy has brought about a unique time in our history as we
are experiencing the “Aging of America.” The Texas Association
of Homes and Services for the Aging
(TAHSA) projects that the number of elderly living in nursing homes
will increase 58 percent by 2020.
Who will take care of these seniors in their time of need? Will
we leave it to others to take on the responsibility? These are soul-searching
questions that all of us must prayerfully reflect upon.
We know that our Heavenly Father has promised that He will bless
us if we are truly seeking his will - and we rely on Christians
who, like you, believe in this ministry and agree that it is a priority
for all of us.
But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees
his brother in need and closes his heart against
him, how does the love of God abide in him?
