Better medical care and, therefore, a longer life expectancy has brought about a unique time in our history as we are experiencing the “Aging of America.” The Texas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging
(TAHSA) projects that the number of elderly living in nursing homes will increase 58 percent by 2020.

Who will take care of these seniors in their time of need? Will we leave it to others to take on the responsibility? These are soul-searching questions that all of us must prayerfully reflect upon.
